Thanks for the new group! Having been brought back from the dead during my heart attack, I'm wondering how others feel about their futures and how they would react if they had another one.
For some reason I am obsessed with this question.

I am a quality not quantity of life guy, but at the moment how are you going to know?

Then what happens if you survive but are in a state where you do not have good quality of life?

So many questions....and no answers!

Hi there Steve. Well my feeling is this: Knowing that the body is amazing and wonderous in so many ways,and has an even more miraculous and wonderful way of healing itself of any ills, i'm going to give it all the time it needs. Whatever happened to "when life hands you a lemon, make lemonade."

I agree. I had major brain surgery last year. And what I was left with immediately following surgery was the inability to speak and write. My fine motor skills were affected. But I knew I was able to think clearly and make decisions for myself. I decided I wasn't going to just readily sit there and let life take my wherever the wind blew. I took the necessary measures to get myself better. A yr later, I am 110% better, and I'm better than I ever was.
