Welcome to ImSurvivor, a social community for people who have been through traumatic situations in life.  

Everybody’s got a story, and our goal is to provide a platform where users can share experiences, advice and information in an effort to support each other.

How it Started

I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1987. After being treated with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, I began to experience many issues relating to survivorship, and subsequently, learned many strategies to deal with those issues. What I began to realize is that much of what I learned, I learned through others who had gone before me.

That’s why I created ImSurvivor.com, a community of survivors, who as resources, appreciate, understand and are sensitive to others and their life journeys.

Who it’s for

Not only is this site for survivors, but we’re also here for friends, family, caretakers, loved ones, and anyone else that has been affected in traumatic times. We realize these situations take a toll on everybody and each perspective is unique in its own right. It’s not only about trauma and triumph, funny experiences and inspiring stories are part of it too.
