- Hi Everyone!! I am new to Planet Cancer and wanted to introduce myself. Here is a brief summary of Cancer Story. I was DX with Leukemia (AML) in November of 1999 at the age of 27. After 2 rounds of Chemo, I was in remission. I relapsed in the winter of 2000. In 2001 I had a MUD BMT and have been 100% cancer free ever since. There have been alot of ups and downs along the way (too many too type here). I felt like changing things on profile again so I'm taking off the current blogs. I'm 36, been happily married since 2000. I have 3 wonderful step-children (16,17,19) and 1 3 year old pomeranian named Misty (who is my baby fur-ball). I am on disability, and spend most of my time at home infront of my computer :-) Would love to hear from everyone!!!
